Fina Ferrara’s La Rupture du Désir unfolds as a visceral, ritualized descent into the volatile undercurrents of unchecked longing and self-indulgence. Through the symbolic repetition of sipping and discarding wine-filled glasses, each one shattering with audible violence, Ferrara constructs a narrative of transient passion and emotional erasure, where lipstick becomes both mask and scar.

The performance blurs seduction with self-destruction, culminating in a haunting confrontation with the self, where desire’s residue stains body and psyche alike. What remains is not a resolution, but an invitation, an open wound, urging viewers to question their own appetites, their own thresholds, their own reflections.
