LA NIÑA DE LA CASA
PREMIERED 2025
La Niña de la Casa is a performance rooted in the questioning of inner truth, the internal voice that is vividly present in childhood and gradually silenced over time by trauma, fear, and lived experience.
Rather than addressing innocence as something lost, the work reflects on the erosion of trust in one’s own intuition and the difficulty of sustaining that truth within a world shaped by external expectations. Through evocative actions and emotions, the performance asks the audience if they can regain the inner trust of their truth, the sincerity within us which is not part of collective identity or social constructs.
La Niña de la Casa emerges as an attempt to reconnect with that inner certainty, proposing vulnerability and self-listening as essential conditions for forging authentic and meaningful connections with others.
