The antibiotic Anisomicine inhibits the synthesis of proteins and DNA, which is necessary to create long term memories. The injection of anisomicine into the hippocampus has been proposed to eliminate selective memories.

We carry our luggage full of stories. Some stories we wish to never recall again. Could anisomicine be the antidote for this ill?
