A CRIB FOR SARAH

This performance explores the resilience needed to master, overcome and purge personal suffering. Unauthorized duel or grief is socially unrecognized, unspoken and minimized, making the pain a heavy burden for the griever. There is no permission for the mourning of an aborted baby.

Numerous women and even men carry this grief in silence and secrecy. This performance engages in a vital dialogue, the necessary encounter with the other, in an act of understanding that allows to channel the energy in order to move forward.
